Prokletije Mountains, Montenegro Mountains Vacations
Prokletije Mountains is a mountain range located in three countries; it occupies the eastern part of Montenegro, the northwestern part of Kosovo and northern part of Albania.
Most of the area of Prokletije Mountains belongs to Kosovo. Montenegrin part of Prokletije Mountains is just a small part of this mountain range. Highest mountain peak of Montenegro is on Prokletije (Zla Kolata – 2.536 m).
The 70-km-long mountain range rises gradually toward the southwest and northeast from the Zetsko – Skadarska valley ending up with the highest peaks of Bogicevica and Cakor and Rugova passes.
